Calculate total wall area (perimeter × height, minus doors and windows). Divide by coverage per litre (typically 10–12 sq m/litre). Multiply by number of coats.
How many coats of paint do I need?
Typically 2 coats for most surfaces. Dark colours over light or new plaster may need 3. Add 10–15% extra for touch-ups.
