Frequently asked questions

What is an NDA?

A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is a legal contract where one or both parties agree to keep specified information confidential. It's also called a confidentiality agreement.

When do I need an NDA?

Before sharing business plans, trade secrets, client lists, pricing, or proprietary processes with a contractor, partner, employee, or potential investor.

What is the difference between a mutual and one-way NDA?

A mutual NDA protects both parties' confidential information. A one-way (unilateral) NDA only protects the disclosing party — common when a business shares info with a contractor.
