Frequently asked questions
How much water should I drink per day?
A common guideline is 35ml per kg of body weight. For a 70kg person that's ~2.45 litres. Active people and those in hot climates need more. Individual needs vary.
Does coffee count towards water intake?
Moderate coffee and tea consumption (3–4 cups) contributes to hydration despite mild diuretic effects. However, plain water remains the best source of hydration.
What are signs of dehydration?
Early signs: thirst, dark urine, dry mouth, reduced concentration. Severe: dizziness, rapid heartbeat, confusion. Drink regularly throughout the day, not just when thirsty.
