What is Tregovia Contracts & eSign?

Contracts & eSign is a shared add-on for creating contract templates, preparing envelopes, adding signers, sending public signing links, tracking signer status, and keeping an event trail around the contract lifecycle.

How do contract templates work?

Managers can create templates with a name, description, body, and signer count. Template body HTML is sanitized, edits to core fields create new versions, and archived versions are preserved so existing envelopes keep their original rendered contract body.

What is a contract envelope?

An envelope is one send of a contract. It pins an exact template version, snapshots the rendered body, can be tied to a client, and moves through statuses such as draft, sent, partially signed, completed, voided, or expired.

How do signers complete a contract?

Staff add one or more signers to a draft envelope. When the envelope is sent, each signer receives a token-based signing link. Public signer actions can view, complete, or decline the envelope, and the system records signer status and timestamps.

What audit evidence is available?

Managers can view envelope events and an audit-evidence payload that includes envelope metadata, signer metadata including IP fields captured by signing actions, event timestamps, and a SHA-256 hash of the rendered contract body.

Is Contracts & eSign included in the base plan?

No. Contracts & eSign is a shared add-on priced at EUR 15/month. Legal enforceability, eIDAS level, retention rules, and sector-specific consent wording should be reviewed by the business before relying on a signing workflow.
