What is Tregovia Accounting?

Accounting is a shared add-on for double-entry bookkeeping inside Tregovia. It includes chart of accounts management, account templates, journal entries, ledger entries, posting, reversal, opening balances, bank imports, reconciliation flags, recurring entries, and financial reports.

What can teams manage in the chart of accounts?

Teams can create and update accounts with code, name, description, account type, subtype, parent account, bank-account flag, reconciliation requirement, opening balance, currency, and active status. Account tree and account template endpoints support structured setup.

How do journal entries work?

Journal entries contain two or more ledger lines and must balance total debit cents and total credit cents before they can be created. Entries can remain draft, be posted, reversed with a reason, or deleted while still in an allowed state.

Which accounting reports are verified?

The verified report endpoints cover trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet, general ledger, VAT report, and export versions for those reports. Reports use integer cents and date ranges or as-of dates depending on the report type.

Does Accounting support bank import and reconciliation?

Yes. The module can upload bank CSV files, detect or accept column mapping, preview transactions, match transactions to accounts, skip transactions, post matched transactions as journal entries, list import jobs, and mark ledger entries as reconciled.

Is Accounting included in the base plan?

No. Accounting is a shared add-on priced at EUR 15/month. Businesses should still review accountant access, local tax filing requirements, chart-of-accounts design, VAT treatment, bank feed expectations, and statutory reporting obligations before relying on any bookkeeping setup.
